University of Winchester – a floor worthy of any art critique

The University of Winchester’s Link Gallery was created as a result of the transformation of the West Downs Preparatory School into the West Downs Performing Arts and Conference Centre. With the recent development of a purpose-built Arts Centre on the King Alfred Campus, West Downs has now become home to the University of Winchesters Business School. The gallery has held a continual programme of exhibitions by a wide variety of established and emerging local and regional artists, including solo and group shows, community projects and annual exhibitions.

Alresford Interiors was asked to help turn the existing 250 square metres of tired flooring into something worthy of the beautiful artwork being displayed above it. The old floor had significant damage and so we fitted new oiled engineered oak floor boards over the three floors of the venue.
